This ancient fruit was once regarded as a symbol of luxury – and, in many ways, is still.
And as it is 81% water and only hours in 62 calories for service – it is certain that it will keep you hydrated and curb unhealthy desires.
“Grapes are fantastic because they are not only affordable, but they are versatile,” dietician Anthony Dimino told the Cleveland Clinic. “They can be used in many different dishes and situations.”

Preventing cancer
Grapes are evident for over 1,600 different plant compounds, many of which contain an extraordinary group of antioxidants.

A 2017 study showed that adults who received a 250-mg grape addition daily for 12 weeks showed significant improvements in language skills, memory and concentration.

“Grapes have a degree of melatonin in them,” Dimino said. “So they are a snack in the evening. They don’t have a lot of calories and they can help you potentially fall asleep.”
